Cameron was born on April Fools day back in 2002 on a cold Grand Rapids, MI afternoon. He was born on opening day of the Cardinals season – fourth inning to be exact. The Cardinals won that day. It was also the NCAA tournament final – Syracuse won. I don’t take that as an omen in any way. I just take it at face value.

Cam moved to Missouri when he was 15 months old and he’s lived here ever since. He’s an emotional, creative and super bright kid who has challenged me as a mom every step of the way.

I don’t blog here as much as I’d like because this is his life chronicle… and I want to keep it as positive as I can. But I’ll be honest, we hit highs and lows. The lows don’t often make it here. But I’ll tell you this: We’re doing everything we can to make sure Cameron grows into the amazing person we know he can be.
